Castlehold Baptist Church is part of the Southern Counties Baptist Association and the Baptist Union of Great Britain. To quote the BUGB web site:

“The Baptist Union of Great Britain (BUGB) is the Baptist family in England and Wales (there is also the Baptist Union of Wales). It is made up of churches, regional associations and Baptist colleges. The Union works with others in mission locally, regionally and internationally. Three Specialist Teams based at Baptist House in Didcot offer help, advice and resources.”
Baptists Together

The BUGB web site hosts an online newspaper called Baptist Times, as well as a 15 minute video created to celebrate the 400 year history of Baptists in the UK, which we’ve linked to below. The video combines Baptist history with interviews with 21st Century Baptists, and is designed to be an introduction for those outside the Baptist tradition. There is also a written summary of what makes a Baptist on their Who Are Baptists? page.

Our Minister is also an active participant in Baptists Together, an Island initiative aimed at strengthening support and fellowship across the Island Churches.  Island Baptist Ministers meet regularly for mutual prayer and encouragement, often at Castlehold Baptist.
