At Castlehold Baptist Church we love children and teenagers. We love and value them in their own right, just as Jesus did, and not just as “little adults”!  So on Sunday mornings we don’t run youth and children’s groups as a baby-sitting service whilst the grown-ups can do church properly!  We don’t run a “Sunday school” to try and teach children Christianity, or to help them “grow up” into following Jesus – instead, we try to create a space where they can meet with Jesus for themselves, in ways that are age-appropriate and relevant to them…to BE church, AS children and teens.

On Sunday mornings…

Crèche: Every Sunday morning there is a staffed crèche provided where you’re welcome to come and sit with your child or, once they’re settled, to leave them and return to the service.

Children and teenagers: There are also a number of age-specific children’s groups that run every Sunday morning during the main service, catering for different age-ranges (from 3 – 18yrs). Click here for more information about these groups.

Mid-week Events & Activities…

Castlehold is a really busy church, with lots going on for both young and old. For younger members of the church family, there are a number of mid-week events/groups/clubs, which run throughout the year during school term-time.
